IT / Technical Project Manager – UPC × O2 SK Integration (1 year contract)
What will your role in the team be?
The IT / Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering critical IT and technology migration projects as part of the UPC × O2 Slovakia integration. The role focuses on execution excellence across complex system migrations, integrations, and technical dependencies, ensuring stability, security, and business continuity.
The role works under the Integration Program Manager and closely with IT, Network, Security, and external vendors.
Your responsibilities will include:
Plan and deliver IT and technical migration projects (BSS/OSS/Network services, data, infrastructure, applications
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle: scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies
Manage external system integrators and delivery partners
Coordinate system migrations, cutovers, and decommissioning activities
Manage dependencies on TSAs, vendors, and group platforms
Drive OSS/BSS/Network services projects including ordering, provisioning, resource inventory, service assurance, and BSS
Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and architecture standards
Drive issue resolution and escalation across IT, network, and business teams
Prepare project-level reporting for program and executive forums
Ensure smooth handover to operations / BAU
Key Deliverables
Detailed project plans and milestones
Migration and cutover plans
RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
Vendor and TSA coordination plans
Go-live readiness and stabilization reports
What we expect from you?
5–10+ years of experience as IT / Technical Project Manager
Proven delivery of system migrations or large IT transformations
Experience with telco (Fixed networks), IT infrastructure, or complex enterprise environments
Understanding of BSS/OSS, data migration, cloud or network concepts
Strong project management discipline (Waterfall / Hybrid / Agile)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate at both technical and senior business levels
Nice to have
Experience in post merger integration (PMI) or service carve in
Knowledge of fixed–mobile convergence
Background in Tier 1 mobile or fixed operators
What we offer you?
Base monthly salary starting at € 5000 gross
On top of that, annual bonuses of up to 20 %
